This place is amazing!! We were planning on eating at the restaurant next door. We walked into Reds Crab Shack just to get a to go menu. Taneal was such a pleasant hostess we decided to stay and eat.. This was the right move.. Service was top notch, food is amazing!! Thank you Taneal for making this such an excellent experience!! We will be back.. My suggestion is everyone that reads this to PLEASE give them a chance. You will not be disappointed..

Service was outstanding! Very friendly and personable staff. Every piece of food brought to our table was very fresh and still steaming, quality of food was definitely top tier! My only regret is that I waited so long to try this place. Definitely will be back as much as my bank account will allow!

Red’s Crab Shack is a must have for seafood in the Jacksonville area! I got the Catfish Po’ Boy and it was delicious! Super fresh, fried perfectly, the bread was toasted to perfection and there was a second fillet in the basket! Charlotte was great and kept the drinks full! I’ll definitely be going back!
This is my second time coming here. They have absolutely amazing food. I don’t know what’s with the other low reviews on Yelp, but both times I came here it was fantastic. I had the catfish plate that comes with 3 pc fish, fries and hushpuppies. The fish was nice and crispy. They season their food very well. It was hot and fresh and it was so good that I ordered a second plate. They are a nice family run business. They are very sweet and polite. This is by far the best seafood Cajun spot in Jacksonville, NC. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.
This was our first time here on the hunt for an excellent seafood boil since all of swansboro isnt in season yet (February) and OMG everything was DELICIOUS and Ms. Taneal was super friendly and very attentive! I don’t think we need to go back to Swansboro this place is it!
